For a village like Kalandri or any village as such, Waste Management is an integral part of keeping the village clean and also to keep villagers healthy. The village is in need of an implementation of Waste Management system and active maintenance of it, post that. We need people who can overlook and participate in all the activities and actions required to manage waste from its inception to its final disposal. This includes amongst other things, collection, transport, treatment and disposal of waste together with monitoring and regulation. It also encompasses the legal and regulatory framework that relates to waste management encompassing guidance on recycling etc.
Another important aspect of implementing waste management practice would be to teach the villagers about segregating waste and understanding the system.
