Kalandri is my dream project to metamorphose one of India’s 5.9 lakh villages to a Model Village. A village with the basic infrastructure of housing, electricity, water, sewage disposal, medical and educational facilities available.
On a long term basis it is also my vision to create a playground for experimentation in agriculture, design, drones and environmental rehabilitation.

Ramesh Kumar Shah is the founder of RK Group, a trading conglomerate, he is also a recreational agriculturist. Graduating with a B.Sc. (Honors) degree from Venkateshwara University, AP. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
Ramesh strongly believes in giving back to society and runs three charitable initiatives under RK Trust The Jain Foundation a not for profit organization, devoted to bring forth the foundational values of Jainism and make them relevant to the current generation and beyond; Kalandri Foundation which promotes the development of his ancestral hometown in Rajasthan and Let’s Mask India a movement started in 2020 where 1 million masks have been pledged to frontline workers, municipal workers, orphanages and economically challenged communities.
Ramesh Kumar Shah is the son of Premchand Manaji Shah who was the President of Adoni Sangh a philanthropist in his community. Rameshji is an invitee to the annual meeting of the Vaiyavachcha Khata, Palitana, founded by Kumarpal V Shah. His family has also donated a bhavan in Adoni his birthplace and an ambil khatu in Bangalore. In his free time, he loves to play tennis and practice yoga.
