RK Trust held its 14th Medical Eye Camp on 23rd Dec 2021 at Kalandri in association with Global Hospital, Mount Abu. Canvasing was conducted 3 days prior to the camp in 26 villages in and around Kalhandri. A massive turnout of 450 people was seen. Technology came to the rescue since Global Hospital would only accept those citizens who were double vaccinated against Corona virus. With the help of Arogya Setu App 350 double vaccination certificates were printed to authenticate the patients, based on Aadhaar and Mobile numbers. Blood tests were conducted to check fitness levels. Those who required powered spectacles were given those on the spot. 47 patients were found to be fit for the cataract operation. They were then escorted to The Global Hospital at Mount Abu and the surgery was conducted. Their entire stay and operation costs were covered. 24 hours later they were discharged with the ability to see again.
